A mysterious evening: discover the Château de Châteaugiron by flashlight!

What if you set off to explore the Château de Châteaugiron from a brand new perspective? On August 19th, the tourist office invites you to an unusual experience: a night-time guided tour where each participant is encouraged to bring their own flashlight.

Throughout this stroll, you will travel through the ages, from the motte-and-bailey castle to the medieval fortress, ending in the chapel which has become a contemporary art centre. A fascinating immersion into the heart of local history that promises to reveal a secret and mysterious facet of this thousand-year-old monument.

Please note, however, that the tour involves climbing numerous steps to access the various areas of the castle, such as the keep, the living quarters, the attic, and the Clock tower (107 steps). Prepare your calves for this memorable night-time adventure!
