Vitré: dive into the heart of heritage restoration during an exceptional evening
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2026, the association “Vie tré inspirée” invites the curious and history enthusiasts to a unique evening of reflection. Join us this Friday, September 18 at 7pm in the “Salle du logis” of the Château de Vitré for a series of three captivating lectures.
The evening will begin with a deep dive into the heart of the Notre-Dame de Paris reconstruction project after the fire, presented by Marie Parant Andaloro and Mathilde Papillon. The discussions will continue with Gaël Labrousse (Atelier TORI), who will address the crucial issues of digitizing monuments threatened by conflict zones. Finally, Christine Grenouilleau-Guérin will shed light on the meticulous restoration of the vandalized sculptures of the Madeleine in Angers.
This is a rare opportunity to exchange with experts in conservation and restoration about the contemporary challenges facing our built and artistic heritage. An enriching evening not to be missed for all lovers of local and national history.
